Meet Dr. Leslie Tay

Dr. Leslie Tay is a board-certified pediatric dentist dedicated to helping children develop healthy smiles in a comfortable, positive environment. Raised in Irvine and Sacramento, she has deep roots in California and a commitment to compassionate dental care.

Dr. Tay earned her bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, where she was a Science–Humanities Scholar and Dean’s List recipient. She went on to pursue her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she served as Vice President of her class and graduated with Community Health Honors. After practicing as a general dentist for a year, she found her passion for pediatrics and completed her pediatric dental residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Once a month, Dr. Tay volunteers as clinical faculty at Western University of Health Sciences where she helps teach and mentor the next generation of dentists.

After nearly ten years on the East Coast, Dr. Tay is excited to return to Orange County to serve the Newport community. Dr. Tay is a proud boy mom and enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants with her family. She has traveled to over 20 states and nearly 15 different countries and hopes to add even more to her list in the future!
